Criminal Defense and Expungements

Criminal Defense

While we maintain a strong focus on drug- and alcohol-related matters, our practice extends to a broad spectrum of criminal charges, both felony and misdemeanor. These include, but are not limited to, offenses such as theft, assault, domestic assault, driving on a suspended or revoked license, violations of orders of protection, reckless driving, robbery, burglary, disorderly conduct, probation violations, prostitution, vandalism, evading arrest, resisting arrest, indecent exposure, public indecency, criminal trespass, financial crimes, and many others. We approach each case with a detailed understanding of the law and a commitment to building a defense strategy that reflects the specific facts and circumstances involved.

Beyond these areas, we also represent individuals facing charges related to drug possession and distribution, DUI offenses, fraud, identity theft, and other serious allegations that can carry lasting consequences. We recognize that no two cases are alike, which is why we take the time to evaluate every detail, identify potential defenses, and pursue the most favorable outcome possible. Whether resolving a matter through negotiation or preparing for trial, our goal is to provide clear guidance, consistent communication, and a strong, proactive defense from start to finish.

Expungements

Tennessee law allows expungements for certain misdemeanor and felony convictions, whether you were found guilty at trial or the charge(s) were pled to by way of a negotiated plea agreement. The charged offense(s) must meet certain criteria in order for the conviction(s) to be expunged, but we are happy to run a full background check to determine your eligibility for this process and then proceed to cleaning up your criminal record.
